SurveyMonkey's new Facebook application allows anyone using the service, paid or free membership, to embed a survey on to their Facebook business page -- though you can't add a survey to your personal wall just yet.
LAUNCH has asked SurveyMonkey when the app will roll out to personal Facebook pages and will update with any response.

In April 2009, former Yahoo Music exec Dave Goldberg became CEO of then 10-year-old SurveyMonkey. Under Goldberg, the number of surveys has grown from 290K a month to 580K and now boasts more than 42M unique users per month with a staff of less than 100. "We're very profitable," he told Bloomberg last month.
Surveys were available only in English until a year ago and can now be created in 55 languages. The site itself can be viewed in more than 14.
SurveyMonkey acquired the YC company Wufoo, a web-based online form creator, for a reported $35M in April and brought that team to its Silicon Valley offices. SurveyMonkey also acquired a 49.9% stake in ClickTools, the leading survey producer for salesforce.com's AppExchange.
In December 2010, SurveyMonkey reportedly closed $100M in debt financing from Bank of America, Merrill Lynch and Suntrust Robinson Humphrey. The company also raised an undisclosed amount from Bain Capital Ventures and Spectrum Equity Investors in 2009.
To add a survey to your Facebook page, log in to SurveyMonkey and link to your Facebook account.
Then from the SurveyMonkey Facebook page, add the app to your company page.
Once the accounts are linked, create a survey on the SurveyMonkey site.
On Facebook choose which survey you would like to embed on your page.
