Accidentally Sent A Friend Request

 Friend Request Fb     No comments

Accidentally Sent A Friend Request: If you are talking about sending a request on Facebook and if that person is using Facebook application, then YES, he or she will DEFINITELY get a notification on the mobile at the notification bar saying “xyz has sent you a request” with Facebook application's logo on the screen till the time he or she clears the notification by pressing clear button available on the mobile screen manager.

So now it doesn't really matter whether you have deleted the request or not, but when the person will try to see your request by clicking on that facebbok's notification, he or she won't actually see any request there (as you have already deleted) and after that the notification will also go away.

Note 1: if you want to try this, then use two different accounts and user Facebook application for one ID while you can use any browser for other ID and sent request from your Browser Facebook to application ID, it will be clear for you.

Note 2: I'm telling this because it has happened with me many time that I got some request notifications on my mobile (as I use Facebook app) for requests, but when I go there, I found nothing.

On the other hand

The other person is not able to see your friendship request if you canceled, but you keep the "follow" option on FB that's why that person is appearing on your news feed. So on any post from that person, put the mouse on its name without click and in the new window right down you got two(2) options: add friend and unfollow in your case. So click unfollow and will be gone from your news feedline. And even if you can see his public posts, you don't appear in its' news feed, but that person can see that your are following and can see your timeline only if you got for public setting.
